Volkswagen’s genre-defining Golf GTi was always going to be a hard act to follow, but the Wolfsburg design team succeeded with their 1986 (Type 19) Mark 2. This is an 8 valve GTi displaying the smaller bumpers, and ‘Bottle top’ alloys (original Steelies available upon request). The full service history and previous MOTs verify that it has only covered 58,800 miles. Vehicle is HPI clear and undergone mini-recommissioning allowing the new owner to have the complete car to enjoy this summer, work included: full service, new tyres, new timing belt, full detailing, new break discs & pads.
