New Members Say Hi! / Hi ya!
Was a member on here back in 2016 - this place is such a treasure trove of helpful posts and people, but I have been a bit lax in keeping the account active so am back as a newbie, if only to possibly leave the scene
Have had my 5-door G-reg Mk2 Driver (Auto) for nearly 20 years but a heavy front-end prang a few years back took it off the road.
Did what I could to get it through an MOT (replaced bumper, rad, lights) but the rot is really starting to set in and now there's just too much extra to do especially with a new little person having just joined the family.
Time and serious funds are in short supply but I'm still loathed to just scrap this once beauty.
What are peoples thoughts on what to do? Are there any places/people (ideally South Hampshire) who might be interested in taking on such a project?
Now I know what its like when all those other owners post about having to part with their pride-and-joy
