or another model that will fit just as good ?

or has anyone fitted the LHD version, im tempted to get it anyway, i see no difference " but that could be due to stock pictures" i understand the postion is different so maybe the lower half is angled different,

You wouldn't get away with the LHD one, it's basically a mirror image.
You didn't mention if you've got PAS or non PAS.
But Heritage have PAS boots in:

Sadly have non power steering version

Have found lhd was so cheap, an no one anywhere responding. Ordered it, in hope it fits somewhat ok.

Found plenty of second hand ones that are rock hard but not cracked just yet. But they want silly money.

May just have to wait until heritage restock them

Chances are VW Classic Parts will have them back in sooner...

The LHD one arrived today, i compared it with my split one, maybe not the greatest for me to compare with. But its all i got to go on, seemed no different still to me. Fited to bulk head fine with UJ going threw it, until subframe and rack get bolted in place, i dont see why theres going to be an issue looks correct to me so far

But well aware its going to bite still in the rear
