No Fuel Supply

Morning all,

I recently purchased an '89 Golf GTI 8v as a project that had been sat in a unit for 13 years. Before I start any other work I wanted to see if she ran okay.

She turns over fine and I have a spark just no fuel up to the engine bay. Am I right in saying these have both an in tank and external pump? I'm wanting to power probe the pumps to see if they fire up and eliminate these been the fault.

Does anyone have a photo of their fuse / relay box of a same model just so I can check these are all correct.

Yes, 2 pumps and look in the knowledge base under F for fuse boxes.
