Engines

Thanks to eddypeck.

The following engine configurations are associate with the MK2 Golf and Jetta.

Not all were available in the UK. We didn't get fuel injection in any non-GTI (exc. derv) cars and none had a Cat.

Standard:

1.3l 8V 40 kW / 55 PS Digijet-Fuel Injected (MKB NZ)
1.3l 8V 40 kW / 55 PS Carburetor (MKB MH,2G,HK)

1.6l 8V 44 kW / 60 PS TurboDiesel with Oxi-Kat (MKB 1V)
1.6l 8V 51 kW / 70 PS Carburetor (MKB PN)
1.6l 8V 51 kW / 70 PS TurboDiesel (MKB JR)
1.6l 8V 53 kW / 72 PS Carburetor (MKB RF)
1.6l 8V 55 kW / 75 PS Carburetor (MKB EZ)
