Hi from the UK currently fully rebuild /restoration mk2 golf gti 16v 3 door sunroof model

Hi welcome.

Quick note, in the UK all GTI's came with a sunroof as standard. I guess at point of sale you may have been able to request not to have one, but that would have been special order and a longer wait I'm sure. In other parts of the world air-con was more common place so sunroofs were not always found.
