clutch choices September 01, 2021, 04:37:42 PM My 8v gti clutch thrust bearing is on its way out so time for a new clutch after 148000 miles. I am looking for recommendations on what make to buy? I want a standard assy. not a boy racer job.scs
Re: clutch choices Reply #1 – September 01, 2021, 05:53:59 PM Just opt for a standard off the shelf LUK clutch, this is what I've gone with in my 1900cc 16v.The extra cost for a 'Uprated' clutch isnt worth it in the real world.I paid approximately £100 for a clutch kit that includes new flywheel bolts.
