Hello from downunder - first time Mk2 owner

G'day
Just took delivery of a 1991 Australian purchased Red 4 door GTI (about 250 sold down here). Was an almost finished project and was an honour to take stewardship of this fine machine.

Have tinkered with Mk1 and Mk3's, now driving a 2016 Octavia Scout (another VW Golf TBH) and son is learning to drive in a Mk5 TDI Golf.

Looking forward to finishing off my new purchase and can't wait to dive into the many sub-forums in here.

See how I go. Currently on South Australian plates, but will soon move it over to Victorian
