Website security breach? May 28, 2022, 07:08:45 AM My phone has just popped up a message advising me to change my MK2 OC password. It suggested that my password had been revealed in a site security breach. Is there any truth in this?

Re: Website security breach? Reply #2 – May 28, 2022, 01:20:04 PM No it wasn’t an update to be safe advice, it was an update you are compromised notice. Phishing emails and texts happen almost every day. Never had this on a phone before but if @vw-widow isn’t aware of it Ill assume some internet jiggery pokery. Re: Website security breach? Reply #3 – May 30, 2022, 12:00:25 AM Passwords that are known to have been ‘collected’ appear on lists that are published within the IT world. It doesn’t mean the password is connected to your username or account or that it even came from you or this site. There’s always a chance someone else has the same password. If you allow your browser to save your password the browser will flag if the password you are using is on one of these known lists. I hope that helps.
