MK2 Restoration work required

HI All, I'm new on this forum, thank you for letting me join!

I'm looking to restore my 1991 mk2 16v and was wondering if anyone could recommend a company that are both reasonably priced and reliable? Preferably around the High Wycombe/Oxford area, but would trailer it further for the right restoration company.
Does anyone have any knowledge of replacing the engine with an electric motor and the cost of doing this? It was another thought i was having... Any advice would be gladly welcomed.
