Yeah, to be honest, the headlights weren't milky, they were just heavily stone chipped and the clips were broken.
Waited for one of their bigger discount offers and went for a pair from Euro Car Parts, only cost me £80 for the pair.
As for the AC, that's on stop while I restore the other one, but I very much want to get it going again and complete for next summer.
I've heard that mk4 units fit better, just need to get hold of one now and have a play.
I've installed the mk4 stuff in a mk4 before and it's all solid with not much play in anything.
I think with my engine, that won't leave any room, so I'll stick to the flexible stuff for the time being.
Also, with my condenser being a lupo one, it's got a dryer as part of the assembly, so I can use that.
It's actually a project I'm looking forward to getting stuck back into, just have a couple minor jobs to finish on the red one first!
