WUR Vac connections 1991 16V KR September 21, 2021, 08:27:48 AM Hi all, i have two vacuum connections on my WUR, one that faces to the side (toward the battery) which i have connected to the T piece connection on the elbow that runs form the ISV to the metering head rubber, and one that faces forward which I have connected to the solid pipe under the cold start injector, dose this sound correct please? Re: WUR Vac connections 1991 16V KR Reply #1 – September 21, 2021, 10:43:19 AM I think one of them might just be a breather and not a vac inlet.I had a 16v WUR on my 8V (as it's adjustable and better for tuning and 8v) and I'm sure the front one was just a breather.
Re: WUR Vac connections 1991 16V KR Reply #2 – September 21, 2021, 07:20:23 PM I see , so where does the vacuum connection off the bottom of the cold start injector attach to then?
Re: WUR Vac connections 1991 16V KR Reply #4 – September 25, 2021, 04:50:21 PM I think I have solved the mystery, i broke the cold start injector manifold so i ordered one on eBay, it looks like the one that came is wrong for the car as it has a superfluous vacuum outlet underneath, what fooled me is that it lined up perfectly with the vacuum connection on the WUR that faces forward. I also found a picture of my engine when i got it and it clearly shows the connection from the elbow on the vacuum hose on the ISV being connected to the front vacuum connection on the WUR, the side one indeed being just a breather which should have a vent cap fitted. Thanks all. 1 Likes
