Mk2 restoration help

Hi,

I purchased a mk2 project from UKD in August. Had a local garage lined up to get the mk2 back on the road, undertaking welding, brake, engine, bodywork n respray. They had the car for 6 weeks but have just informed me closing for 6mths to rebuild workshop without completing works. Reaching out for some help- does anyone know a vw restorer in West Sussex ( I'm based Haywards Heath) area? Or point me in the right direction. Car not MOT'd etc  Cheers

Problem you'll have is a restorers availability.
I know of three very good car restorers, who specialise in mk2s, but they are mostly booked up for 12 months.
Still, should you want to look them up, look out for:
DST Rustoworx
Typ 19
Resto Shack

I've seen all three output some really excellent cars.
