Only if they are Russian Special Forces.

I wish someone would do something.

But, why can’t we send in troops as civilians to help Ukraine?

Sending our troops, even if they wanted to go, would start WW3.
Don’t lose sight of the fact that the Ukraine's are winning; albeit at a terrible cost. I think at this stage supplying a few aircraft to Poland so they release their MIGs is about as much more as we can do.

Not send them in as troops; just troops on annual leave! And as citizens.  I know it’s a stupid idea; just watching the news is heartbreaking.

Civilians can go and help if they wish to, I imagine though the visas and getting there would be a pain.

I see this morning there is a plan for Poland to provide 27 MIGs to USA.  USA will then somehow get the aircraft to Ukraine. Avoids Putin declaring war on Poland?

An interesting development in the news today, apparently a handful of British servicemen have gone AWOL and are thought to be heading to Ukraine to join the fight.

If they survive and return they will most likely end up in Military prison, but they clearly feel something has to be done and their individual morals overruled against authority.

Best of luck to those brave individuals.
