prospects and copyright

on vw-page i've dug a german post about a copyright-spat
between vw and doppel-wobber from back in 2012.

according to it vw first permitted sharing prospects,
then apparently forgot about it and send a legal letter with money demands.

after some communication, vw apologized
but has not stood back entirely from the letter.
at least not back then.

it might be all settled well
and they still have some magazines up,
but it might me no mistake to be informed about how it all went.

does anybody know more ?
