Engine harness extension

Thinking of doing a very simple wire tuck on my mk2 driver and would include extending the harness, what size wire would I need to buy to do this?

To be honest, you're better off finding someone breaking a mk2 driver and buying the loom.
Then you only have one cut in the cables and will have all the original colours for the wires.
