Drivers side headlight not working November 05, 2024, 07:46:58 PM Hi all,I am having some trouble with my drivers side headlight. I have a mk2 Driver 1.6 1989 (double headlight). The passenger side works fine, but there is nothing from the drivers side on either click of the headlight switch. It does however work on full beam.I have swapped the bulbs, and also the first part of the loom (from bulb and second headlight to main loom) so have ruled out this as a problem. I have also checked the fuses and they seem to be fine. Is there something glaringly obvious that I could be missing? Any help would be gratefully received.

All other lights work fine, including high beam on both sides.I've read somewhere that a bad flasher stalk can impact/block signal to the mid beam after using high beam flash. Also people have suggested to replaced the ignition switch as that seems to have a terminal linked to the headlights as well.I certainly haven't found out the way for my car to repair it. I will try my best to update whenever i find something out.How's it on your end atm?
