OK, so, this is quite an odd collection, as I have had various jobs that had required specific cars,
I also have loved old cars since I was a kid, so when I was 18 in 1987 my first car was a
1957 Austin A35 (for sale about 2 miles from where I lived, and only it's 3rd owner!).
1988 Vauxhall Astra
I then became a mobile caterer, pulling a snack caravan so I bought a
1971 LWB Landrover Safari series 2A
1979 Volvo 340
1975 Rover 2200TC which I then restored and used for pulling the caravan.
I then started the training to became a driving Instructor and had a 1975 Ford Escort MK2 for a few months before ordering my first new car, which I order and chose the colour of and was very excited about:
1991 VW Polo Fox Coupe in Mint metalic
1992 VW Polo 1.0 Genesis
1995 & 1996 VW Polo 1.3/1.4L in Dragon Green Pearl Affect with a sunroof
1997 VW Polo 1.9D CL
1999 Seat Arosa 1.0
I then stopped being a driving instructor and part ex'd the Arosa for a 12 month old
1999 VW Golf Mk4 1.9E SDI
My wife then became eligible for the Motability scheme so we had
2004 VW Golf 2.0 S SDI
2007 VW Touran 1.6S
2010 Renault Grand Scenic Prestige (the dark years)
2013 VW Touran 1.6TDI S Bluemotion.
We then decided to buy a used wheelchair accessable car for my wife and I had a second car
2001 VW Bora Sport 1.9 TDI PD 130. I abolsutely loved this car and my interest in old cars was rekindled.
2006 VW Touran 1.9 TDI SE, I only kept this for 7 months when I found:
2006 VW Touran 2.0 Sport PD140 DSG with a sunroof! This is currently daily
In July I bought 1991 VW Golf Driver 1.6

Not had too many myself...
Passed my test in March 83 5 months after turning 17. Should have focussed on my studies!
1976 2CV that was fun but rotten!
1979 Talbot Horizon - ex company car which was discustingly dirty but cheap. 2nd gear crunch
1980 Ford Fiesta base in pale blue with XR2 alloys!
1982 Opel Kadett GLS. Burnt oil and needed main bearings and cam fixing while I had it
1965 VW Beetle chassis welded to body and a smattering of filler and fibreglass bodge which I had fixed/restored.
1989 Golf C - after years of reading VW mags!
1991 Golf GTI * current
2000 Seat Toledo 1.6
2004 Vauxhall Zafira DTI
2002 Beetle TDI surprisingly quick
2008 Skoda Octy Scout TDI * current

85 RS Series 1 Turbo nicked 3 times
86 Golf GTI 16V BRM tuned, one of first demo's Ft Cars and Car Coversions 86/7
83? Suzuki Sj410 reversed into bouncers car on car park
85 Fiat Panda with moonroof 4 speed but 3 was fooked until I rammed it in one day and it got 4 gears back lol
89 Metro GTA Cat D I found out and I bought it off my mates mom, swapped for Beetle Wizard
85 Golf Gti 8v crunch front DS, repaired inner outer and painted with rattle can and damn heater matrix
73 Beetle Wizard Convertible fun but rotten, got nicked, I heard it someones house foundations?
83 Mk1 Golf GTI white Rocky what a tool until filler neck fecked it
85 Audi 80 Sport 1.8 Lots of raving transport
85 Peugot GTI 1.6 205 Clutch went within 2 miles, returned as I swapped it for Rocky

89 Mini 30 convertible, so sweet but Missus lost it and spun, had to sell it as she didn't want to drive it again
83 Mk1 Golf Campaign Helios, well, sold it for stupid cheap because pram wouldn't fit in it, bought Mk2 Helios
89 Mk2 Golf GTi 8v Helios owned 20 years until 2019
90 Mk2 Golf GTi 8v BB Tornado cut out MF
76 Fiat 126 AC mint restored, missus hit someones rear and bent it, tbf brakes were poo

9? Honda Accord I think petrol, poo paint, bought for 200 quid when I was in the garage, wasn't worth fixing for the customer so I bought it and fixed it, nice but boring

85 Mk1 Golf Carmen Convertible, nice but had issues, MOT'd it and sold to a woman who was taking it to Spain
