Wolfsburg is a city in northern Germany. It's known as the headquarters for Volkswagen and for the Autostadt, an automobile-themed park with a classic-car museum and driving track. The AutoMuseum showcases Volkswagen models and prototypes.

The Wolfsburg Volkswagen Factory is the largest manufacturing plant in the world, in terms of area at just under 6.5 million m². It is the worldwide headquarters of the Volkswagen Group.

European and most worldwide Mk2 Golf & Jettas were built in Wolfsburg between 1983 and 1991.
