Engine cross member...

Have to hold my hands up and admit to some muppetry.

Took the old ones out without making sure I'd some way of remembering what way in the new ones will go.

Looks like they're going to be a sod to get in, really don't want to do it to discover they've to come back out again.

Have I got the orientation right in this piccie?

Surprising how few images of these fitted are out there, (that are in enough detail to see for sure) - this is the best I can do at the moment.

Powerflex replacements... but they closely copy the profile of originals.

The side with that 'ledge' seems to be in the cupped part, but of course I'm relying on the person whose image I've nicked has done it correctly!

Plenty of copper grease, in the groove. Think I also greased the cross member.
If you make up a puller, or put in a vice I used a bit of wood with big hole cut out, one to protect the cross member, but also allow the bush to get pushed through into the hole in the wood if the makes sense.

Mechanics and carpentry... my CV's getting longer by the day.

Sounds spot-on thanks, sounds like a photo op. too.
